Insights from a CEO
On April 5, the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Boston hosted the first in a series of breakfast networking events planned to cover a range of topics and interests. This event, “Becoming a CEO,” featured Frank Britt ’88, CEO of Penn Foster and member of Syracuse’s Boston Regional Council.
Sharing anecdotes from his time at SU, Britt highlighted much of what led to his professional success, including earning trust and trying to be the best at any pursuit. The conversation offered actionable takeaways, particularly for alumni more established in their careers.
“We were thrilled to have Frank kick off this new networking series. His stories and the overarching themes presented were interesting, relatable, and very well received,” says Samantha Lordi ’07, alumni club co-president. “We’ll be announcing the next networking event in the series very soon and look forward to another insightful discussion.”
For those who missed Britt’s event, the entire conversation was recorded and will be released as a podcast in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for details!
